t the beginning of the year when we’re all gung-ho with motivation and grand plans, it’s easier to keep focused. Then, little by little, everyday life gets in the way; the washing machine breaks down, the kids won’t do their homework, you lose a client, forget your best friend’s birthday… so how do you remain focused on the plan in hand when everything is going astray? OK, I’m not going to lie, it’s not always easy, but here are five tips that can help:
1 Be clear on your goal. Ditch vague plans such as ‘I want to lose weight’ or ‘I’m going to start a business this year’ and swap them for specific ones such as ‘I will lose 12lbs in six weeks’ or ‘I will set up a social media agency in May’…
