IN JANUARY, Rose Vespa joined the Canadian Children’s Book Centre as the new execurive director, a posirion rhat oversees some of the country’s most important kidlit programs - TD Canadian Children’s Book Week, TDGrade One Book Giveaway, and the CCBC Book Awards - as well as an in-house reference collection of almost every Canadian children’s book pub- lished since 1976. Q&Q spokewith the Hamilton native about what the future holds for the CCBC.
