Trolley incidents BTP officers have described two incidents in Yorkshire as ‘extremely dangerous and reckless’ after shopping trolleys were placed in the path of trains in Bradford. In the first incident, a Northern train collided with a trolley on 7 October. The second was at the same location the following day, when two trains were involved. No one was hurt.
Fight appeal BTP is appealing for witnesses to a fight at Birkdale station around 21.00 on 4 October. PC Paul Hevey said: “A man became engaged in conversation with two other men before this turned into an altercation. A large group then emerged from a pub and became involved, during which the fight spilled out on to the car park.”
Bag arrest BTP Community Support Officers helped officers arrest a suspected bag thief on 15 October. The two PCSOs spotted the man at Oxford station at 08.00 and detained him so he could be arrested by BTP. The arrest came after a man reported the theft of his bag, containing £700 worth of designer clothes and accessories, on 3 October.
