A scene from Samaritans’ suicide prevention on-line video
MORE THAN ten thousand railway staff have now been trained to spot and help vulnerable people at risk of suicide on the rail network, thanks to Samaritans.
As a result, action by staff from Network Rail, train operating companies, British Transport Police and the wider rail industry has potentially saved more than 1,000 lives in the last three years, according to Samaritans.
