I HAD MY POTATO HEAD SCANNED FOR A 3D HELMET
What do potatoes and heads have in common? No two are the same. Hexo understands noggins better than anyone – it was the first company to build 3D-printed cycle helmets via mobile 3D scanning. For 40 years we’ve put up with polystyrene foam inside our cycle helmets; this lot use Polyamide 11, usually seen in the aerospace industry. Creator Jamie Cook performed a 3D scan of my own head and, yes, the result could easily be mistaken for a large baking potato.
