A WORTHY WINNER!
You might have seen the work of extraordinary Italian modelmaker Stefano Marchetti in TMMI before; he has given us the honour of showing his work in our pages and the articles always make fascinating reading. This year, Stefano brought along his 1:8 Ferrari 330 P4-2/TB (turbine engine) Daytona 1967, a truly incredible flight of ‘alternate reality’ fantasy, but using very familiar themes in the shape of a classic Ferrari that make it look rather plausible. The workmanship of this sizeable masterpiece had to be seen to be believed; it was simply exquisite. This one of my all-time favourite models; I like the retro-futuristic concept and the sheer creative drive to go ahead and actually build it. We are planning to feature the Ferrari in a future issue of TMMI, so please keep reading!
