In the frame

I have recently changed over to using Jackson’s Handmade Extra Fine Boards for my own work so I was delighted to be asked to review Jackson’s Handmade Linen Boards as it gave me an opportunity to try other boards in this range.

The boards feel substantial at 4mm thick, covered in the finest Italian linen with no loose threads, knots or faults and, to my knowledge, they don’t warp.

The sides are sheered so the linen doesn’t wrap around the edges, which gives a contemporary clean finish. They are hand-finished in house at Jackson’s and the attention to detail is excellent.
