Dennis Lillee
Ask any batsmen from the 1970s which bowler they least liked to face and the answer would be Dennis Lillee. Joel Garner was harder to score off, Colin Croft more physically dangerous, Jeff Thomson was faster, Michael Holding more slippery. But none of them had Lillee’s sheer wickettaking mastery in all conditions. Lillee had a permanent killer instinct. Lillee was the Terminator.
