Johnny was about to perform for the lively and diverse audience who were waiting for him to make his entrance to the lovely 1920s stage. As I was asking him about what things he’d been up to these days since the X Factor and his appearance on Loose Women as the fabulous Miss Sarah Lee, we could hear compere and comedian Lenard Pink warming up the audience for Johnny’s performance. I have to say I was getting my own private show from Johnny backstage. Apart from being a great singer, he is also a very quick-witted comedian and a great all round entertainer and he’s so down to earth and friendly. He was wearing a fully-sequined glitter jogging suite. I asked him if he went running, and he replied that that ship had sailed years ago. He just runs to catch his lovely little dog Bobby - a beautiful little Staffie. I asked Johnny if was he ready for his questions as we both sank into the beautiful Rococo red and gold thrones in his dressing room; he nodded and smiled, so I began asking away:
