Let’s go back to age 7. While learning to play the drums, I also began to use mum’s makeup - I quickly became good at both. Fast forward to my teen years. I was now playing in bands, had the hottest girlfriends, and became very popular. Still, something was missing. During those years, I still dressed female in my sister’s clothes, wore makeup and just fell in love with what I thought was a phase I was going through. The internet was not around back then, so I just kept it to myself for many years. I married twice, had 2 beautiful boys, and life was ok - so I thought. The urge to dress got to the point where I wished I was born a girl - but I still, thought it was a phase. I did what I thought was right, but deprived myself from being who I really was. What triggered this sudden move to jump in with both feet, was during a trip to Disneyland. We stopped at a hotel for the night. The desk clerk was busy with someone, and said to me “I’ll be right with you ma’am”. Bells went off. I was taken for a female, since my hair was long (playing drums in Rock & Roll Bands). This small comment changed my life, and from that moment on, I made the decision to go full force Female - all the way. I THEN waited another 5 years before I came forward to my then wife.
