◼ Now in its 22nd year, the nine-day Festival de Fès Musiques Sacrées du Monde will take place on 6-14 May. This year it celebrates the ‘founding women’ of Morocco as well as the amazing culture of India; the plan is to focus on a different country each year. With an incredibly varied programme, this event should not be missed. The Palais Faraj hotel is a good base from which to enjoy it.
