Speaking to him today, you’d never think that Andy Lewis had once been so depressed. But after a motorcycle accident left him with lifechanging injuries, the British Paratriathlete felt his future had slipped away.
“I was just about to go into the military. I was a very fit, active person. [Afterwards] I could hardly do anything. I went into a big state of depression and was in a bit of a rut. That is where I literally got to the point where my life just didn’t seem worth living if I’m honest.”
