“My cousin was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 27 and I had wanted to do something about it. I was just an ordinary girl, partying hard and eating takeaways, but I put my everything into training for the Great North Run for Macmillan Cancer Support, which came to then writing about it. I wanted others to know that they were capable, too, and I wanted to inspire others. Life changed!”
