The Caterpillar Story for Children Prize 2016, run by Irish literary magazine The Moth, is open for entries to this year’s competition.
The competition is for short stories up to 1,500 words that are suitable for children between 7 and 11. The first prize is €500 and a two-week stay at The Moth Artists’ Residence. The second prize is €300 and the third prize is €200. All three winning stories will appear in The Caterpillar, The Moth’s literary magazine for children.
Entries may be on any theme or subject, and must be original and unpublished. The author’s name must not appear on the manuscript.
