The new Nine Dots Prize is for creative thinking that tackles contemporary societal issues and offers the winner the grand sum of $100,000 to write a short book of between 25,000 and 40,000 words.
The Nine Dots Prize is awarded by the Kadas Foundation with support from Cambridge University Press, the University of Cambridge and CRASSH. The prize’s name references the nine dots puzzle and is for innovative thinking that addresses problems facing the modern world. The question for the inaugural Nine Dots Prize is: Are digital technologies making politics impossible?
