Tribe is a Canadian print anthology, published by LP wordsolutions, ‘about the lives of older single women’. Writers must be ‘Women aged 55+ from anywhere in the world’, single by choice or circumstance and not currently in a permanent domestic relationship.
It welcomes submissions from ‘emerging and experienced writers’ of prose, poetry, prose poems, memoir, personal narrative, and fiction, on virtually any aspect of life. The writing may be ‘serious, humorous, self-reflective, dramatic’ but should examine the ‘condition of single life in modern times – your own experience and those of women you know, philosophical, sociological, analytical, revelatory…’
Reprints are considered, multiple and simultaneous subs are not. Prose submissions should be 1,200 to 3,000 words and poems should not exceed 45 lines. Email subs as a single doc attachment to: tribeanthology@outlook.com. Make sure the first page has name, postal address, email and phone number and the month and year of birth. Put ‘Submission and surname in the subject line and include full contact details in the body of the email.
