Wet-felting is a technique that takes a little time and effort to complete but delivers great rewards – build up the layers until you love the finished effect and add extra stitching for detailed results.
1 Lay the bubble wrap down flat. This will form your base layer – you will later add the felting wool on top of it, followed by a layer of tulle, which will then be wetted and rolled up. The bubble wrap keeps the felt together once it is rolled up and stops water seeping through onto your work surface, and the tulle adds agitation to the fibres to ensure they mesh together well.
