It’s no secret that SEMA builds are a big deal. Businesses that embark on these ground-up projects typically pool resources from all over the country to showcase the latest and greatest aftermarket components and paint schemes, often on the latest and greatest trucks being produced in Detroit. As part-owner of Velocity Auto Body in southeastern Idaho, a two-shop operation that specializes in custom paint and auto body work, Alan Nickell and his team had been privy to adding the finishing touches to various SEMA builds over the years. However, for 2017, Alan wanted to piece together his own project for the big show.
