It’s 1982, and you’re scanning the bookshelves of WH Smith. Your eye settles on a paperback with a flash of block cyan. A young man in beige beams out pleasantly from a photograph. A corner flash proclaims “A BBC-TV programme with Peter Davison at the Doctor”. In essence, it’s exactly how you’d expect a TV tie-in from 1982 to look.
It’s also utterly wrong.
