7.7m viewers make Doctor Who the 7th most watched show of Christmas week

After a season in which Doctor Who’s average viewing figure slipped to six million viewers, there was some good ratings news for the Doctor at Christmas.

Doctor Who’s Christmas episode had 7.69 million viewers in 2015, down from 8.28m at Christmas 2014 – but it certainly wasn’t the only show to see its audience drop...
