POLL RESULTS

Corakinus (Paul Marc Davis) and the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) in the first episode of Class, For Tonight We Might Die.

CLASS

YOUR VERDICT: Although there wasn’t a series of Doctor Who on air in 2016, the year did see the launch of a new spin-off series for BBC Three. Class was set in Coal Hill School, and featured a guest appearance from Peter Capaldi as the Doctor in the first episode, For Tonight We Might Die. Overall, it was that initial episode that proved to be readers’ favourite of the season, closely followed by the penultimate episode, The Metaphysical Engine or What Quill Did, which focussed on Miss Quill, as played by Katherine Kelly. At present, a second series of Class hasn’t been commissioned by the BBC, but a majority of our poll voters – 53% – are keen to see morea

Katherine Kelly as the enigmatic Miss Quill in Class.
