Marco, Barbara and Susan in the royal court.
In The Celestial Toymaker (1966), the Toymaker (Michael Gough) wears the robe originally worn by Marco.
For the imperial palace scenes in the . nal episode, Assassin at Peking, Marco changes out of Richard the Lionheart’s jerkin and into a long, seemingly silken robe decorated with Oriental designs. A robe that we’ll also see again - worn by the all-powerful Toymaker (Michael Gough), in ‘Celestial’ (ie, Chinese) guise, throughout The Celestial Toymaker (1966).
