We need to talk about Rassilon. Engineer. Leader. Lord President. Architect of Time Lord society. Perhaps the greatest Time Lord who ever lived. Yes, lived. Past tense – implying at some point that Rassilon died, his body ending up in the Dark Tower at the heart of the Death Zone on Gallifrey, otherwise known as the Tomb of Rassilon. Which is a pretty big hint about the condition of the occupant.
