I met Tom Waits in an elevator. I was with my daughter, and he thought she was cute. He leaned down to her and said, “What’s your daughter’s name?” and I couldn’t even answer. He just stared at me like I was an idiot, and I was an idiot.

I can cook a pretty good steak on the grill.
What’s the strangest place you’ve ever thrown up?
Bro, I’m not going to lie to you. I hate throwing up. I can probably count every time I’ve thrown up on one hand. The strangest place would have been in an ice cave in Canada. I was probably 15, and I went there to go ice climbing. I was shitting and puking.
