Drawn by their “galactic” sound, artist Abramovic plays ‘The Universe’ on this New York band’s absurdly cosmic, conceptual third album. Her spoken words ensure opener The Tower is almost as dramatic as – if shorter than – Propaganda’s A Dream Within A Dream, while Karen Hover’s harmonies suggest The Beach Boys relocated to the moon’s Sea Of Tranquillity. It’s the endless grandeur of this orchestrated spectacular, however – whether Enchanter’s harps and flutes or 2nd Star Shroud’s booming kettle drums – that make this so heavenly.
