Martin Carver (Emeritus Professor of Archaeology at the University of York and the director of the Sutton Hoo research project), Justin Garner-Lahire and Cecily Spall are the co-authors of this archaeological study that explores the Tarbat peninsula in Easter Ross. This final composition encompasses the work of numerous contributors, so many in fact that an entire review would be spent naming them all. The authors drew on information from field investigations and analyses, as well post-excavation analyses, to not only reconstruct the history of this location, but to help explain the many changes it experienced over time.
