In summer 2021 I went on a camping trip to Sweden. Being in nature for a long time after working from home for almost two years was very inspiring. With this project, one of my goals was to bring this very open and almost magical atmosphere into the environment. I also wanted to be looser in my workflow, put less emphasis on the quality of the individual assets, and instead look at the environment as a whole.
I started by placing a camera in Unreal Engine which I then linked to a second viewport on another monitor. I used this viewpoint to design my composition. Doing it this way and focusing on one or two viewpoints enables you to create a stronger composition overall.
