This issue we have focused on a couple of key areas of 3D. To start with we take a look at creating CG characters that are full of personality. Sometimes, photorealism just doesn’t cut it and a more whimsical approach is what you need to get your message across. Starting with our cover art, we show you how to create these kinds of images, first by sculpting in ZBrush, and then in Blender where Diana David shares techniques for modelling and rendering.
We also take a look at a very special collaborative project, where 3D World alumni Adam Dewhirst and gang work on an awesome ‘exquisite corpse’ creation, using a tag-team approach.
