AFI acquired Kimberly Access earlier this year, making it the biggest specialist access equipment rental company in the UK. Its business development director, and recently inaugurated IPAF president, Nick Selley, talks to AI about the consolidation phase the access industry is going through.

IAPA AWARDS
Now in its tenth year, the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) will be held in Miami, USA on 8 March 2018. Th ere have been a couple of changes to this year’s award category list. Make sure you take part in what has become one of the industry’s biggest annual events.

TRACKED PLATFORMS
In many ways the tracked platform sector is leading the way in technology and emission-free working. There has also been a few movements in the sector over the last 18 months, with acquisitions and the inevitable
move towards even more compact, quiet machines.

Martin Borutta took up the reins as the new CEO of Teupen in recent months. He spoke with Euan Youdale about the future of the company and the tracked platform sector.
