AIR International Magazine April 2017 Back Issue

As usual, there’s lots to read in this month’s issue of AIR International – nothing but back-to-back news stories and features from cover to cover. No other aviation magazine packs so much in to 100 pages.

SUPER FEATURE this month’s main theme is the Russian Su-27 Flanker. Billed on our front cover as Big, Bad and Deadly, we review Russia’s most lethal fighter aircraft – one that has reportedly kicked some ass when flown by Indian Air Force pilots fighting western fighter types. Our Flanker super feature details the history, variants, radars, missiles, munitions, international operators and combat deployment. Operated from land bases and Russia’s Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, each version of the Flanker is a little different, none more so than the all new Su-35 also included.
