TIPS FOR TOP ROSES
Few other plants can match roses for colour, perfume and beauty, and many modern varieties offer excellent disease-resistance and repeat flowering throughout the summer. Most roses require plenty of moisture and nutrients, which is why our forefathers traditionally grew them in their own section of the garden and generously manured the soil around them every year. Nowadays, we’re rethinking how we use roses and taking the lead from top garden designers, who are partnering them up with shrubs, perennials, biennials and annuals.
