When the husband-and-wife team Michael and Nicole Tew of Trickle Creek Designer Homes built what they call their modern Magnolia farmhouse in Calgary, Alberta, their original intention was for it to be a show home. What they didn’t anticipate was falling in love with the home so much that they would make it their own living place.
