Included in the April 10 sale of Old Masters, antique furniture, ceramics and works of art that is part of Babuino’s sale series in Rome this month is this small painting by the early 17th century Flemish artist Roelant Savery.
The 6 x 8¼in (16 x 21cm) oil on copper panel, featuring a riverscape with ducks and swans to the foreground, is signed lower right and contained in a 19th century Dutch ebonised frame.
It has a provenance to a Roman family and is guided at €20,000-30,000.
