An American dealership is offering a significant relic which highlights the start of the military campaigns leading to independence.
The powder horn used by Minuteman Oliver Buttrick at Concord – the first battle of the American War of Independence, on April 19, 1775 – is on sale from The 19th Century Rare Book and Photograph Shop.
It has priced the horn (shown above) at $165,000.
