Wilton House hosts an annual antiques fair with this year’s fair running from March 2-4. Originally built by the 1st Earl of Pembroke in 1551, it now features a succession of architectural styles down the centuries. Inigo Jones designed the staterooms in the 17th century to house the collection of family portraits by Van Dyck, while James Wyatt in the 19th century created the cloisters at Wilton House.
An Edwardian platinum-mounted opal and old mine-cut diamond-set pendant necklace in its original retailer’s box is one of the highlights of the annual antiques fair to be held at Wilton House, the ancestral home of the Earls of Pembroke for 400 years.
