WITH only three regular weekly customers, the Bank of Scotland in Inveraray has confirmed it will be closing its doors for good on November 3 after decades of service to the burgh.
A spokesman for the bank said it had made the decision after a reduced number of people were using the bank, preferring instead to go to Lochgilphead.
The spokesman said: ‘We have made the difficult decision to close Inveraray branch. This branch has been identified for closure because of the changing way customers choose to bank with us, which has resulted in customers using it less often.
