Ward is shut as virulent vomiting bug hits hospital

A HIGHLY contagious bug, causing diarrhoea and vomiting forced the closure this week of Mid Argyll’s only acute hospital ward.

NHS Highland announced on Monday that the Glenaray in-patient ward at Mid Argyll Community Hospital had closed to new admissions after several cases of diarrhoea and vomiting.
