STYLISTS at Numero Dix Hair Salon are continuing their fundraising efforts this festive season by stocking stylish goodies from luxury brand GHD. The salon is selling a range of GHD pink products including hair dryers and straightners with £10 from each sale going towards Breast Cancer Now. The salon is also stocking GHD Umbrellas for £25 with all proceeds from sales going straight to Breast Cancer Now. The hairdressers have been fundraising for the cancer charity for a number of years and this year alone have raised nearly £1000 for breast cancer research.
Recently four of the team travelled to London to visit The Institute of Cancer Research Chester Beatty Laboratories to see where the money is being spent.
The visit was organised after the salon won 'Best GHD window display' in Scotland. The partnership between GHD and Breast Cancer Now has raised over nine million pounds so far and with the contributions made by individual salons such as Numero Dix it is hoped that a new goal of ten million will be reached. The range of pink products can be purchased by visiting the salon.
