INVERARAY Castle has won another award for excellence, based on the views of visitors. The award was given by Irish coach tour operator CIE Tours International, which recognises the UK’s hotels and visitor attractions by presenting a merit award to those who have received a greater than 90 per cent customer satisfaction rating.
For the past five years, Inveraray Castle has earned an award of excellence, which this year was based on the feedback of the 15,000 visitors CIE brought to the UK in 2017. Representatives from the castle attended an awards ceremony on April 10 at House for an Art Lover in Glasgow. Elizabeth Crabill, chief executive of CIE Tours International, said: ‘The growth we are experiencing in the UK is fantastic and the level of customer satisfaction achieved by our suppliers plays a vital role in our success, which is why it is gratifying to recognise excellence in this, our fifth annual UK awards.
