POLICE stopped a car after seeing the driver, a man aged 50, using his mobile phone at about 11.20am on Wednesday April 19 on the A83 in Inveraray.
The man was charged and issued with a £200 fixed penalty and six points.
ON WEDNESDAY April 19 at 1.10pm, police stopped a van on Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead, as a child in the van was not properly restrained. The 47-year-old male driver was charged and issued with a £100 fixed penalty.
