Monty Python veteran Michael Palin was in Dunoon on Wednesday June 20.
In conversation with art dealer Ewan Mundy, the comedian turned travel writer spoke of his passion for Scottish art, particular the Scottish Colourists, an early 20th century movement of four artists featuring vibrant colours in joyful, avant-garde works.
Palin spoke of the various films and programme he has made on the four Scottish Colourists (Peploe, Fergusson, Hunter and Cadell), and their influence on Scottish art.
