WEST KINTYRE
SIX POTENTIALLY life-saving defibrillators have been installed throughout West Kintyre.
No formal training is required to operate the equipment, which administers a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. The units, which are fully portable once removed from their bright yellow cabinets, give clear instructional voice prompts if a shock is required.
