Smiling in the rain – some of the pickers beside just a sample of the bin bags filled
WHILE some of us glanced out the window before deciding to light the fire and stay indoors, nine hardy volunteers set off on a litter pick. On a wet and windy Sunday October 1, members of Lochgilphead Community
Council and members of the public gathered at the resource centre before heading out. The route was along the lower path from Tesco to the school gates, doing the rounds of the resource centre on the way. From the school, the hardy pickers went through the woods to the top path, where they covered an area from the traffic lights to the gates of Lochgilphead Joint Campus.
