New funding available for youth projects

Young people from Arran and across North Ayrshire are being urged to get applications in for the chance of winning up to £1,000 of funding to help deliver projects in their communities.

A total of £50,000 has been allocated from North Ayrshire Council’s youth bank fund to deliver this special youth participatory budgeting event which aims to celebrate the Scottish Government’s Year of Young People (YoYP) 2018.

The event will see local youth groups, organisations and individuals aged CalMac ferry turns up in France 8 and Lucy 6, who were on holiday with their parents Laura and Gordon Barr from Troon. Oliver and Lucy enjoyed playing on board the Caledonian Isles in France. 8 to 25 given the chance to pursue their ideas which will bring benefit to young people in the area.
