Arran today welcomes Her Majesty the Queen. Fifty years after the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth visited the island, she is returning. Then she dined in Brodick Castle as the guest of the Duke of Montrose, today she will lunch in Brodick Castle as the guest of North Ayrshire Council.
