Inauguration day

Last Saturday Brodick Golf Club handed over Ormidale Park to the Arran Sports Association and the three new holes came into use as part of the course.

Cutting the ribbon to mark the commencement of the ‘new’ course was Lady Jean Fforde. It was she who permitted the change of land to allow the golf course to become the new sports field.

Ladies and gents committee members of Brodick Golf Club pose with Lady Jean and club captain Douglas Jenkins in front of the fourth, which is now the first fairway.
