The competition, which has taken place for 28 years and is held in the Kilmory Hall in March, donates the proceeds from the annual event to various groups. One of this year’s beneficiaries, Kilmory Primary, has invested in an electric oven which will help pupils improve their culinary skills. The Baby Belling electric cooker is small enough to be mobile and so can be easily moved about the school. The cooker was officially presented to staff and pupils by Mrs Margaret Mackenzie last Thursday in a small ceremony held at the school.
