Arran residents are being reminded to check their bin collection arrangements for the festive period, as the Christmas and New Year holidays will bring changes to some bin collection days on the island.
However, only those households whose bin collections normally fall on a Tuesday or Wednesday will be affected, in both weeks, and these will be carried out on the Thursday and Friday. For all other households, bin collections will remain on their usual days.
The household waste recycling centre in Brodick will be closed on December 25 and 26 and on January 1 and 2.
