Despite atrocious weather, 19 intrepid teams battled the elements at the Texas scramble at Shiskine Golf Club last Sunday.
Many others donated their entry fee to Shiskine Valley Improvements but chose not to play. This year’s fancy dress theme was ‘the movies’, with some going all out with costumes, make up, hair and props – and some were rather more cryptic costumes which took a little working out.
Winners of the Texas scramble were the Cannes Film Festival team of David Johnston, David Henderson, Danny Head and Sarah Kelso.
