‘Loos change’ appeal needs help

Businesses in Brodick have been urged to get behind a ‘loos change’ appeal to help support the re-opened public toilets.

Brodick Improvements Committee, which has taken over the running of the public toilet facilities at Brodick beach, is appealing to the community to help contribute to their upkeep.

Businesses in Brodick have been approached for a monthly contribution for the maintenance and modernisation of the facilities, which include improved lighting and the addition of hand driers. The committee, which negotiated with North Ayrshire Council to take over the running of the toilets, temporarily managed to re-open them just in time for the Brodick Highland Games, one of the busiest days of the year.
